JOB SUMMARY

The Graphic Designer works on the creative team within the marketing department. As a Graphic Designer you are responsible for the development of the overall layout and production design for printed literature, digital assets and sales tools. This position will work with all areas of the company—sales, product development, digital marketing, operations—to support the company’s internal and external marketing needs. In addition, your responsibilities may include working with outside vendors on printing, photography, and other marketing-related needs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts
• Use a variety of mediums to achieve artistic or decorative effects
• Create charts, graphs, illustrations, and other artwork
• Interact, communicate and present ideas to internal clients
• Create and edit PowerPoint presentations
• Prepare layouts for printer
• Understand and stay current on market, industries, and product trends
• Edit/update literature to reflect all current products and specifications
• Design or create artwork to meet specific marketing or promotional needs

QUALIFICATIONS

• Typography
• Detail-oriented
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
• Printing process
• Web/print page layout
• Color theory
• Time management

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• 2+ years of experience
• A bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field
