POS Professional Office Services is a national healthcare communications company headquartered in Waterloo, Iowa with production facilities throughout the country. Our products and services include print, digital communications, and healthcare communication technologies to help practices engage with patients. Our multi-channel communication offerings include customized/branded patient and practice collateral, electronic messaging via phone, text and email, and robust patient billing and payment systems to make it easy for patients to pay and for practices to collect money.

POS is seeking Graphic Designer candidates to join our team located in Waite Park, MN.

Position Involves

• Preflight, manipulate, edit and adjust customer provided electronic files to prepare for both offset and digital printing.
• Knowledge of print production processes and production software.
• Define necessary visual requirements, specs and recommended stocks.
• Conceptualize and design creative content for customers to produce commercial quality print orders.
• Work and communicate directly with sales/customers to design consumer marketing collateral.
• Understand and implement style guides to maintain clients' brand consistency.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Stay abreast of new design trends within the industry.

We Seek Candidates With The Following Qualifications

• Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Creative artistic ability in the layout, visual elements and design of commercial quality customer orders.
• Previous Graphic Design experience a plus.
• Experience with both Offset and Digital/Toner Based Printing a plus.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Able to communicate clearly and concisely with the sales team/customers about layout and design.
• High degree of competence using Macintosh and desktop design software including Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator). Experience with Microsoft Office a plus.
• Two-year degree in commercial art or graphics design is required. Four-year degree preferred.
• High degree of quality and accuracy consciousness.

General hours for this position will be 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday - Friday. Staring wage: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour commensurate with experience.
