Graphic Designer Jobs

Simpler Trading, the premier provider of Trading Education in the marketplace, is in search of a Graphic Designer to join the team. Our Graphic Designers have demonstrated success in implementing marketing campaigns and have a portfolio of design projects showing they can pair a mastery of graphic design software with a creative eye to deliver quality work on behalf of clients. In this role, you will ensure that designs promote the vision of the brand through high-quality content. You will drive brand awareness, site engagement, marketing revenue, and new customer acquisition. You will work in partnership with other Marketing employees to optimize all campaigns to grow the Simpler Trading customer base.

What You'll Do

• Review and make edit suggestions for junior designer drafts to ensure quality.
• Analyze product objectives to deliver results aligned with project goals.
• Create content that embodies the Simpler brand, provides value to our community, and aligns with business goals.
• Meets with the dev team on a weekly basis to make sure projects are on schedule and moving forward.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Grow and maintain a network of freelance and creative production resources.
• Order (and keep stocked) all print materials needed for Welcome Folders (Options, Futures, Small Account Mastery, Stacked Profits Mastery)
• QA all completed projects (site pages, sales pages, member dashboards, etc.) after dev has built them to make sure all design specifications were met (including mobile).
• Do regular site audits to make sure nothing is broken or looks weird and fix what you can or submit a ticket to JIRA
• Create easy-to-use and brand-specific templates within PicMonkey for repeatable assets for use throughout the company.
• Manage graphic designs from conception to completion.
• Create new brands for Content Providers.
• Create and manage digital and print designs for Simpler Trading’s marketing and website needs.
• Partner with other Marketing team members to ensure that all plans support and align with the campaign calendar and campaign launch dates across brand and performance marketing social media platforms.
• Design graphic content including but not limited to illustrations, infographics, sales pages, ecommerce pages, email templates, and paid media ads.
• Leverage an omnichannel creative approach (brand media, conversion ads, social, content, email, events, mail, etc.) to creatively tell one narrative across multiple environments.
• Post all blogs
• Conduct Lunch & Learns to help fellow employees know how to use the tools at their disposal.
• Day-to-day management of the creative team, creative operations, creative and asset calendar, and department budget
• Collaborate cross-functionally as a brand steward, consistently coaching the broader team on use of brand identity and brand voice.
• Direct and create the look, feel, and messaging for multi-channel marketing campaigns that motivate customer behavior

Who You Are

• Keen eye for detail and aesthetic skills (particularly visual and branding)
• Deep understanding of customer motivations and how to inspire brand communities
• Strong digital experience
• Dedicated to learning: are committed to growing your skills and knowledge by keeping challenged, receiving feedback, asking questions, and rapidly testing hypotheses.
• 5+ years of experience
• Strong project management skills to meet deadlines and ability to juggle an ever-changing set of priorities.
• Project management system experience (Basecamp or similar)
• Strategic and analytical: able to analyze, learn, and understand situations quickly and focus on the activities that matter the most.
• The ability to work independently or with a team to collaborate on overall campaign strategies and marketing goals.
• A service-oriented leader interested in mentoring and motivating other Marketing employees with thoughtful, humble leadership
• Proven work experience as a Graphic Designer
• Portfolio of brand campaigns inclusive of e-commerce, stores, email, social, and paid advertising
• Working experience with image design tools (Adobe Creative Suite)
• Highly imaginative and excited to bring a constant flow of new, creative ideas to Simpler
• Think outside the box and embrace a test, learn, and iterate marketing approach.
