Graduate - Application Engineer

• Work with a variety of tools and languages such as Oracle PL/SQL,Perl, PHP, and NIX shell scripting.
• Work with a global team, understand and work towards bringing company standard software to the Austin site and integrating with existing systems.
• Support existing defect analysis systems / software and resolve user incidents.
• Enhance systems / software as needed to support user requirements and changing business needs.

You are best equipped for this task if you are/have:

• Experience within the Semiconductor industry is a plus.
• Enjoy new challenges and new problems to solve.
• Knowledge/hands-on experience with software/technical tools.
• Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction through prioritization, quality, efficiency, and professionalism.
• Work independently or as part of a team and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision.
• Excellent problem analysis and solving skills.
• Ability to complete assignments with attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• A BS/MS degree in Engineering or Computer Science
• Ability to follow and enhance software development processes.
• Ability to perform effectively in a demanding environment with changing workloads.
