The Government Relations team evaluates and manages political risk for the firm, our business units, and portfolio companies by monitoring policy proposals and political activity, and engaging with a global network of industry experts, policymakers, and government officials. The Blackstone Government Relation department seeks an associate to help navigate regulatory, legislative, and political risk for Blackstone and Blackstone portfolio companies.


Responsibilities:


  • Monitor current events and news relevant to Blackstone and Blackstone portfolio companies
  • Provide general administrative support
  • Attend key policy events and prepare summaries
  • Lead research projects on key policy priorities
  • Review industry comment letters and provide feedback. Coordinate collecting comments on letters from key stakeholders
  • Review and monitor federal and state activity, including legislation and regulation, relevant to Blackstone and Blackstone portfolio companies

Expected annual base salary range:


$85,000 - $130,000


Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.


Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
