You will be responsible for running Risk, Health, Safety & Environment, and Laboratory costs and working closely with the Leadership Team to handle the overall site budget.

You will ensure that Diageo’s Governance Management policies; procedures, programs and systems are fully and consistently implemented and integrated into site operations.
You will establish and run the laboratories to provide timely and accurate analysis to enable process modification and optimization.
You will play a key role in developing and delivering the continuous improvement program.
Purpose of Role
The ability to engage, lead and develop individuals and teams is crucial for success in this role. You will develop Diageo USVI culture, principles, people and values in line with corporate objectives.
As a key member of the Diageo USVI Leadership Team, you will provide support, direction, training and coaching to employees on site. You will influence employee understanding and decision making to advance Diageo USVIs Quality Management policies and programs.
You will create the environment for open dialogue, promoting positive employee relations through effective listening, conflict management and issue resolution.
Top 3-6 Accountabilities
To ensure that Diageo’s Quality Management policies; procedures, programs and systems are fully and consistently implemented and integrated into site operations. You will serve as the ISO Management and Quality Management Systems Representative.
To establish and lead the laboratories to provide timely and accurate analysis to enable process modification and optimization
To manage the Diageo USVI Site Security agenda in line with Diageo NAM. To include but not limited to the securing of all applicable parts of the distillery and Diageo USVI assets
You will play a key role in developing and delivering the continuous improvement program.
You will be responsible for leading the site’s Health and Safety Agenda and ensuring there is a thriving safety culture on site.
To ensure Diageo USVI adheres to its environmental policies and regulatory requirements. To drive environmental compliance through internal audits, education, and communication. A key member on Diageo USVI site 2030 Spirit of Progress Sustainability Goals
Qualifications and Experience Required
University/College Degree
5 years experience in a relevant production environment
Knowledge and experience of regulatory requirements
Project Management experience
Demonstrated leadership capability
Able to lead and provide strong authentic leadership and build trusting relationships Able to manage people for success – set objectives, define roles, assign tasks, lead, coach, develop and motivate employees as well as remove barriers to set people up for success Exhibits outstanding team building skills
Demonstrated interpersonal skills:
Excellent communication skills Ability to influence, persuade, convince Ability to compromise, build consensus Able to resolve conflict and provide meaningful feedback for growth and development.
