How This Role Impacts Live Oak and its People
The Global Treasury Management (GTM) Senior Analyst will play a critical role as part of the Global Treasury Management team responsible for the sales and servicing of our business deposit products. The GTM Senior Analyst will exhibit significant experience in all business banking products offered by Live Oak. They will be responsible for project management for ongoing feature enhancements and any new product launches. As ongoing projects or new products become available, the GTM Senior Analyst will act as troubleshooter, guide, and partner to various groups in the Bank where Business Deposit accounts are involved. Some travel may be required for site visits to customers.

What You’ll Do at Live Oak
  • Perform lead calls and emails related to Treasury or Retail customers; be accountable for and run Business pipeline
  • Own and cultivate external partnership relationships
  • Promote Bank’s services to current and potential customers; cultivate strong relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Perform actions to assist with any new projects/products within the GTM team whilst leading certain functions
  • Daily activities will focus heavily on speaking with customers (business owners and financial teams) and various groups across the Bank, and active involvement in Deposits functions and projects.
  • Provide expertise in Deposit products and processes and possess basic understanding of Lending products and processes
  • Independently assess businesses comprehensively and consult on products/services
  • Be responsible for the customer experience for Treasury and NextGen Credit customers from initial call to account opening or loan closing
  • Prepare and present analysis on the portfolio on a regular schedule to review and understand overall Deposit quality and changes to the book
  • Evaluate new account applications and actively move applicants to the open account phase
  • Act as a liaison between the Lending and Deposit teams to provide a comprehensive service experience to current and potential business customers.
  • Work autonomously while reaching the expected goals and deadlines associated with customers or projects
How You’ll Do It
Portfolio Management & Monitoring
  • Work closely with Deposit Ops and Customer Success teams as needed for account maintenance
  • Work closely with a GTM Analyst for Treasury clients, who will perform ongoing servicing for a portfolio of customers
  • Assist with training, research, complex customer issues, and acts as a backup for call escalations for the Customer Success Team
  • Work with Treasury clients to move them from a lead to an opened account and ensure accuracy and a premium customer experience
  • Follow through on strategy within respective internal assignment with regular (monthly/quarterly) consideration to progress
  • Lead pipeline and follow up on outstanding opportunities within desired timeframe
  • Process manual account openings and provide servicing for Bank-controlled and collateral accounts
Reporting
  • Develop industry expertise in specified market specialties
  • Use technology to run leads, pipeline, and referral sources; stay abreast of portfolio metrics and performance
Sales & Customer Service
  • Follow up to referrals with clear information, log all contacts, and respond promptly
  • Serve as Business Deposit customer’s primary source of contact throughout life of the account or loan
  • Treat people with respect; keep commitments; inspire the trust of others; work ethically and with integrity; uphold organizational values; accept responsibility for own actions and take ownership
  • Consult internal & external customers on Everyday Banking products and processes; briefly discuss Lending products and provide clean and educational handoffs to Lending teams as necessary
Projects
  • Will be required to work on miscellaneous projects and initiatives related to Everyday Banking functions or across the company as needed, inclusive of the continuous build out of additional training
Required and Preferred Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required and an advanced degree a plus
  • Self-starter and proactive worker; offers creative solutions
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills; ability to evaluate multiple alternatives to achieve goals
  • 3+ years of sales and/or servicing experience in banking
  • Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills
  • 5+ years of prior banking experience and/or Live Oak banking experience is required
  • Strong partnership skills and ability to collaborate across multiple groups in the organization
  • Ability to work under stressful conditions, particularly in customer situations
