Global Supply Chain Leader
Key parts of this function are:
Developing and executing a global sourcing strategy for Ventura, which supports our Brand Promise and Value Propositions.
Leading regular business reviews with our suppliers [audits, commercial reviews, launch reviews, etc.]
Ensuring clear, balanced and agreed-upon expectations between Ventura and our Suppliers (Supplier Manual, Terms and Conditions, Supplier Statement of work). Perform due diligence on the financial viability of our suppliers.
Accountability for our Supplier performance to Ventura [including but not limited to cost / quality / delivery]
Leading the standardization and continuous improvement of business processes for the implementation of global supply chain systems. Strong collaboration with our international locations is key.
Demonstrating, leading, and mentoring a continuous improvement mindset within Ventura.
Providing mentoring and coaching for people at Ventura who have accountability for the supply chain function.
Technical expertise in electronics. We’re getting into more electronics manufacturing and are learning a lot about sourcing strategies of electronic components. Someone with a background in RFQs and purchasing for this supply chain would be significant for the team.
Quality experience or involvement in the Quality Management System of their organization. In purchasing, this would likely connect to supplier quality systems, audits, and measurement tools.
Background and Traits we are looking for:
Bachelor's degree or significant related experience. CPM/CSM/CPSM certification a plus.
Demonstrated success and experience in strategy development.
5+ years' experience in the purchasing/supply chain field.
Strong personal communication and persuasion skills, vision and passion are a must.
Cultural awareness, international experience, and managing an international supply chain.
An insatiable curiosity- asking the "what if?" and "what could be?" questions.
A creative thinker who sees things others do not see.
Foreign language skills are a plus, especially Spanish and Mandarin.
Ability to travel internationally.
