The Opportunity
As the Global Director, Social Media & Community, you will be a key visionary and voice for our brand, working directly with our CEO and a team of highly skilled marketing experts. Your mission will be to lead and execute innovative and edgy social and influencer strategies that engage our audience, drive brand awareness, and spread excitement about our solutions. Your role will encompass a blend of captivating content, culture, and meaningful conversations, fostering an environment that empowers and inspires our online community.
Responsibilities
Define and lead a comprehensive influencer marketing program to boost brand awareness and drive tangible business impact.
Strategize and develop timely influencer campaigns aligned with product announcements and marketing initiatives.
Create and implement platform-specific social media strategies and editorial calendars for organic and influencer content.
Uphold our brand aesthetic across all platforms, embracing a social-first, data-driven approach to content creation.
Generate and publish engaging content daily, including text, photos, videos, and more.
Actively engage with our social media community, responding to comments and messages promptly.
Stay informed about social media trends, design tools, applications, and emerging tactics.
Monitor and analyze social media performance, setting objectives and KPIs, and providing regular reports to leadership.
Suggest and implement new projects, promotions, and competitions to enhance brand awareness.
Coordinate and participate in photo and video shoots for social media content.
Requirements
5+ years of proven work experience in social media or community engagement marketing.
Deep understanding of various social media platforms (TikTok, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
A 4-year degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in using social media monitoring and posting platforms like Sprout Social.
Hands-on experience in creating and executing creative content (text, image, and video).
Ability to design content, including basic shooting and editing skills for photo and video.
A self-starter with exceptional drive and collaborative abilities across teams.
Demonstrated experience in developing and executing strategic social media plans.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong multitasking skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Capability to communicate complex concepts in engaging and easy-to-understand language.
Preferred Requirements
Experience in the cybersecurity or technology space.
