Job Description
Summary You will serve as a General Supply Specialist in the Fleet Aviation Allowance Branch of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT. Responsibilities You will be responsible for the completeness and accuracy of the site Aircraft Equipment Configuration List (AECL) for assigned aircraft/weapons systems. You will ensures that file updates required to improve accuracy of NAVSUP WSS and/or site databases are implemented. You will serve as one of the central points of contact within NAVSUP WSS regarding allowance processing. You will be responsible for the computation, analysis and delivery of fleet outfitting requirements for both afloat and ashore activities. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying a thorough knowledge of allowancing processing procedures and exhibit in-depth knowledge of the ERP business rules as they relate to allowancing and outfitting. I have experience providing continued analysis on various aviation related databases for the purposes of improving fleet aviation support. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Ensuring that file updates required to improve accuracy of supply site databases are implemented; 2) Tracking and monitoring customer problems and following up until resolution; 3) Utilizing ERP to extract data for reports; and 4) Computing, analyzing and delivering fleet outfitting requirements for both afloat and ashore activities.
