Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to oversee our operations across four locations within the water and fire restoration industry. The successful candidate will be a dynamic leader with a strong commercial background in restoration services, exceptional people management skills, and a proven track record of building and leading teams. As the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, cultivating a culture of accountability, and ensuring the success of our multiple locations.


**Responsibilities:**


  • **Quality Assurance:**
  • Provide regular performance reports to executive leadership, outlining key metrics, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Build a cohesive and accountable culture across all locations, emphasizing teamwork, performance excellence, and adherence to company values.
  • **Reporting and Analysis:**
  • Utilize your in-depth commercial understanding of the restoration industry to make strategic decisions that drive business growth and profitability.
  • Lead and guide location managers to achieve operational goals, meet service level agreements, and maintain compliance with industry standards.
  • Ensure adherence to industry best practices, safety standards, and regulatory requirements to maintain the highest level of service quality.
  • **Cultural Development:**
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of four restoration locations, ensuring efficient service delivery, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive work environment that fosters employee engagement and development.
  • Analyze financial data to identify areas for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
  • **Stakeholder Engagement:**
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the teams.
  • **Commercial Expertise:**
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand market share, improve revenue, and enhance customer relationships.
  • **Operational Leadership:**
  • Provide strong leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a team of location managers, project managers, and field technicians.
  • **Financial Management:**
  • Collaborate with clients, insurance professionals, and other stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and address any concerns promptly.
  • **Team Management:**
  • Manage Profit and Loss (P&L) responsibilities for all four locations, ensuring financial targets and budgets are met.


**Qualifications:**


  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of the restoration business landscape.
  • Proven experience as a General Manager in the restoration industry, specifically water and fire restoration, with responsibility for multiple locations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills to address complex operational challenges.
  • Leadership experience managing teams of 50 or more individuals.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with employees, clients, and partners.
  • Ability to create and nurture a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a P&L of at least $100,000.
