Are you ready to be part of something big? Greif is thrilled to announce the opening of our cutting edge Corrugated Sheet and Box manufacturing facility right here in the heart of Dallas, Texas!
Greif is seeking a seasoned General Manager who will be responsible for implementing daily operational strategies regarding overall performance in our brand-new 350,000+ sq ft state of the art Corrugated Sheet and Box facility.
In this role the GM will establish business plans, develop systems, ensure a safe work environment, and oversees plant operations as well as work in close partnership with our Sales team in support of Greif ‘s initiative and strategies.
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensures safety programs and OSHA standards are met and leads by example in all areas of Safety.
  • Supports Greif's mission, follows the values of Greif, and works to better Greif’s business as a whole.
  • Encourages joint problem-solving and individual development.
  • Demonstrate effective leadership toward achieving operational goals
  • Full P&L ownership
  • Maintain close connections and contact with other departments.
  • Effectively implements new performance management systems, production plans, and performance criteria; confirms production progress, responds to delays, takes corrective action, and records KPI performance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Oversees quality control
  • Ensures the team understands roles and responsibilities relating to the team and Greif.
  • Creates and implements improvement plans for the overall operation.
  • Communicates goals and objectives, applies company policy consistently, staffs, trains, coaches, recommends salary increases, administers discipline, ensures positive colleague relations, and reviews colleagues' performance.
Education and Experience
  • Solid understanding and experience in managing a full business P&L
  • 10 or more years of relevant experience in the Corrugated Industry as a production leader.
