General Maintenance Assistant Jobs

The general maintenance assistant (bindery, press, tool room and electrical) is a key contributor to ourdaily workload. You will be assigned to help mechanics and electrician with project tasks included but not limited to -parts cleaning, inventory management, and other duties as assigned by team leadership.
What You’ll Be Doing

• Conform to all manufacturing plant and OSHA lockout/tagout procedures
• Additional projects as required and/or assigned
• Follow and maintain all preventative maintenance schedules
• Assistwithmaintenance related concerns
• Monitor and maintain inventory parts
• Change filters in various machines, ventilation systems, and HVAC systems

What You Need To Know

• Mechanical/electrical aptitude
• Weekends and Holidays are occasionally required
• Requires personal set of compatible job related tools
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions without supervision
• Leveling and roof work knowledge
• Part of emergency response team (must be available to be on-call at times)
