General Labor / Warehouse Worker

In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning and prepping machines, performing minor repairs, organizing the warehouse, and more. You will also have the opportunity to learn how to perform basic repairs and maintenance on industrial equipment. Experience is helpful, but if you are a reliable, hard worker and willing to learn, we are willing to train.

• Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM - 1-hour lunch
• Paid Holidays, Vacation & Personal Time
• $20 - $22/hour to start - plus incentives and annual performance & salary reviews

Responsibilities

• Perform minor repairs to equipment - training provided
• Cleaning facilities (i.e., sweeping floors, cleaning up spills, etc.) Ensure proper removal of trash/recycling from the showroom.
• Other misc. related duties as required by the position
• Assist with set-up and clean-up after special events
• Organize warehouse (i.e., putting things away, organizing parts on shelves, straightening area, etc.)
• Clean CNC machines and other industrial equipment, including cleaning out metal chips and coolant, wiping down the machine, etc.
• Occasionally pick up supplies as needed.
• Load & unload items using a forklift (forklift experience a plus, but we will train)

Requirements

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment helpful
• Forklift experience is a plus, but we are willing to train
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to master the use of hand tools/equipment
• Ability to identify tasks & carry them out with little supervision
• Positive attitude toward work and the ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Valid Driver's License - clean driving record

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

• Standing and walking approximately 90% of the time.
• Bending, kneeling on a daily basis.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds on a daily basis.
