A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A GENERAL CONSTRUCTION LABORER:

As a General Construction Laborer at Peacock Excavating LLC, your days will be filled with exciting and challenging tasks. You'll find yourself digging and backfilling trenches, laying pipes and conduits, and assisting with lateral installations. You'll operate a water truck to control dust and maintain a safe work environment. With each project, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the creation of new infrastructures and the development of our community. Be prepared for a physically demanding role that keeps you engaged and allows you to learn and refine your construction skills.

WHAT IT TAKES TO BE SUCCESSFUL AS A GENERAL CONSTRUCTION LABORER:

To excel in this role, you'll need the following qualifications and traits:

• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation, ensuring punctual arrival at various job sites.
• Previous experience in construction or excavation is preferred, but we're willing to train motivated individuals.
• Physical stamina and resilience to work in different weather conditions and perform manual labor.
• A willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks, technologies, and construction practices as needed.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately, ensuring precision in your work.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with the project team.
• Familiarity with operating construction equipment and hand tools, as well as a strong understanding of safety protocols.

WORK SCHEDULE AND LOCATION

As a full-time General Construction Laborer at Peacock Excavating LLC, you'll enjoy a consistent schedule of Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 5 pm. Occasionally, there may be requests for work on Saturdays to meet project deadlines. Our projects are located in Provo, UT, providing you with the opportunity to work in a vibrant and growing community.
