The General Accountant I responsibilities include, but are not limited to, general ledger reconciliation, and financial reporting, as well as financial analysis and other special projects as assigned.

Bosselman offers on-demand pay (access to earned but not yet paid wages) through


  • Reviews and prepares monthly financial statements.
  • Works with division managers on timely and accurate end of month reporting.
  • Oversees the daily POS information flow into JD Edwards.
  • Communicates with co-workers, management and clients in a courteous and professional manner.

  • Processes month end journal entries.
  • Reconciles specific general ledger accounts.
  • Reconciles and oversees inventory processes and reporting.
  • Assists in the preparation of budgets.
  • Reports for work in a timely manner when scheduled.
  • Assists in the preparation of year end audit work papers


Additional Job Duties


  • The position may share job duties with other areas within the Accounting department (A/R, A/P) based on need and skillset. This would be specifically communicated and outlined with assigned to specific individuals.
  • Other job duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Supervisory Responsibilities


  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting.
  • One to three years of job experience in the related field preferred.


Minimum Qualifications


  • Must be organized and have strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to meet assigned deadlines.
  • Able and willing to deliver friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service.
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards software preferred.
  • Able and willing to work cooperatively with other team members.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to communicate in English. – IF APPLICABLE.
