Job Description

Duties

  • Prune to obtain a proper balance between roots and top growth and to maintain the natural form.
  • Utilize, maintain, and repair the necessary tools and equipment required to effectively perform the duties of the position.
  • Use and maintain hand tools, zero turn mowers, walk behind mowers, weed eaters and blowers, leaf vacuum, tractors, skid steers with attachments, spray equipment, snow blowers and snowplows, chain saws, and pruning equipment.
  • Mow large and small turf areas, weed eat, mulch planting beds, install and maintain trees, shrubs, and flowers, and perform other grounds maintenance activities as assigned.
  • Inspect trees and shrubs for evidence of pest infestation, decayed wood, weak or dead limbs, and proceed with the removal of such items.
