Tapestry Solutions Boeing Global Services BGS is seeking a Junior Full-Time Software Developer in San Luis Obispo, CA.

In this role you will design, develop, enhance, and/or maintain software code for our defense and commercial software product offerings.

Position Responsibilities:

• May gather and organize data for use in plans, schedules, and estimates
• With general supervision, develops, documents, and maintains code and unit tests by utilizing software development environments and programming languages
• May integrate and compile software components into builds. May test limited component level software in the target environment
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Develops, documents, and maintains software design by applying established methods and practices
• May assist in the specification and maintenance of software requirements. Receives guidance and instruction from more experienced engineers
• May perform troubleshooting of operational and integration issues. May gather and document data on subject matter
• Performs troubleshooting of defects. Collaborates with others to propose solutions to problems

This position allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform work onsite at the listed location option. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 2 or more years software development

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Java experience preferred.
• Web application development experience preferred.
• Knowledge of and experience with object-oriented programming.
• Web-centric technologies and languages (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript, React/Redux/Sagas, HTML) experience preferred.

Entry Level - Typical Education & Experience:

Related work experience 2 years, relevant military experience, or advanced degree preferred, but not required.

Associate Level - Typical Education & Experience:

Related work experience 4 years, relevant military experience, or advanced degree preferred, but not required.

Summary pay range:

Entry Level: $64,000 - $89,000

Associate Level: $74,000 - $105,000
