Full-Stack Java Developer Jobs

We have partnered with our global financial services client in their search for a Full-Stack Java Developer.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems.
• Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development.
• Leverage technical expertise in Software to build integrations and technical capabilities that are innovative and align to modern architecture best practices
• Discover/analyze/design/develop the best solution that aligns with the overall strategic direction by leveraging industry best practices and design patterns to modernize, enhance and integrate systems and applications.

Skills Required

• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
• Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Experienced in front-end technologies like React or Angular
• Proficient in Java/J2EE, and scalable microservices using Spring framework, Springboot
• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
• Proficient in coding in one or more languages
• Hands-on experience in building/implementing cloud native application in a private/public Cloud environment i.e. AWS, Azure, Pivotal, or Google

Preferred qualifications:

• In depth knowledge of Cloud Native Architecture (AWS Experience is a plus), Microservice Architecture and related stacks, and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills and able to work collaboratively across teams to deliver innovative solutions
• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies such as React or Angular
• Experience with Message broker platforms (Kafka is a plus)
