As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to use a wide array of backend technologies including NodeJS, Python, and various Azure and AWS cloud-native services. Collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers to build what’s next for Rheem Connected products. You will be building new capabilities in the RheemConnect.
This position will serve our Enterprise Division, located in Roswell, GA.
What You’ll Do

• Build complex web applications based on connected products powered by RheemConnect
• Engage in architecture design, review, and cross-functional team knowledge transfers
• Managing cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines
• Work with on-shore and off-shore developers on implementing solutions that are not only resilient but cost-effective
• Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful design
• Add positive energy in every meeting, and make your coworkers feel included in every interaction
• Work across the full stack, building highly scalable solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and creative teams to design, build and test
• Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance
• Work in tandem with our engineering team to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions for the company
• Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, fix, and document problems, and implement preventive measures

Job Qualifications
WHAT YOU NEED

• Experience and desire to automate all the things
• Great presentation and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work well with others in a team environment
• Knowledge of the latest development trends
• 5+ years of experience designing and building solutions utilizing various Cloud services such as EC2, S3, SSM, EMR, Kinesis, RDS, Redshift/Spectrum, Lambda, Glue, Athena, API gateway, etc.
• Ability to understand requirements in the ambiguous problem space
• Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
• An innovative solution-first spirit and an ability to think creatively.
• Strong command of Python, React, TypeScript, AWS cloud-native software services
• Passionate about building and owning innovative, customer-facing services/products.
• Proven track record of building highly performant, scalable applications in the Cloud
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering, Computer and Electrical Engineering Technology or Computer Science
• 5+ years of experience with at least one of the following Cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure, others

How To Stand Out

• HVAC / Water Heating industry experience preferred.
• Master’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• IoT experience is preferred.
