Title: Full Stack Java Developer
Location: Springfield/ Chantilly Clearance: TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph
Black Bear Technology Solutions seeks a Full Stack Java Developer to meet challenges in the Intelligence Community (IC) by contributing to the development team to streamline business processes and customer support. This role will be a part of the development team to ensure accessibility for all users by developing integration functions across browsers, platforms, and devices while meeting accessibility and security requirements. Additionally, this role is critical to recommending system and process improvements, optimization, development, and/or operations sustainment efforts for IT systems, software, and processes.
Responsibilities

• Communicating progress to team manager.
• Visual Modeling: Set up Database Structures and relationships, Develop application workflows, Create application logic, Create integration interfaces via Web Services, and Create Graphical User Interface Layouts.
• Deliberate decision-making and architectural ownership concerning the design and development of functionality within the context of the deliverable application.
• Understanding of development effort and estimations
• Deduce and document use cases from customer requirements
• Documentation of either user manuals, (non-)functional application requirements, business processes, workflows, project plans and planning, systems architecture, etc.
• Development of high-quality applications in small teams with Front End, Mendix, and BI technology
• Extend application logic and integration interfaces with custom Java

Requirements

• 5
• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g., HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
• Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g., C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, etc.)
• Years of work experience in IT development and delivery

Education

• BA/BS Degree in a computer-related discipline or equivalent professional experience
