As an Application Software Engineer for Rolls-Royce you will define, develop and maintain software throughout its lifecycle by gathering requirements through to ongoing maintenance and eventual decommissioning. The team that you'll be a part of liaises with the customer to understand their needs and then build customer web applications to fit with their requirements.

Key Accountabilities:

• Developing next-generation future application architecture
• Gathering customer requirements
• Decommissioning applications
• Deploying new applications
• Writing new application code at all layers of the stack, from database through to user interface
• Developing common application architecture
• Maintaining existing applications

Basic Requirements :

• A Master's degree OR;
• A Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience in software engineering OR;
• In order to be considered for this position, you must be a US Citizen.
• A JD/PhD

Preferred Requirements :

• Release something into production/delivered results at some level in academic study
• C#, JQuery, Java, SQL, MVC
