Job Description

Full-Stack Lead Application Developer (Consumer Services)

  • Recommends system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development, emerging new technologies and off-the-shelf alternatives
  • Collaborate with teams that are geographically dispersed among different locations and time zones
  • Responsible for supporting business needs by leading/coordinating project builds, developing solutions, and establishing clean documentation
  • Translate simple and complex user stories into functional and actionable software. Create visual representations of logical business processes and technical architecture/flows
  • Leads development and oversees testing while managing changes for supported applications including the managing and distribution of team assignments
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix production problems as they arise by brainstorming the best possible solution, while understanding the impact of system downtime and SLAs

Basic Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of web best practices, building for accessibility, optimizing for SEO, etc.
  • Continuous process improvement mindset
  • 2+ years of experience in backend development using .Net/C#, SQL, RESTful services, microservices
  • 6+ years in Full Stack Development
  • 4+ years of experience in web programming using JavaScript, Angular/React, Next.js, Node.js, HTML, CSS, and similar web technologies
  • BS in computer science or equivalent certifications
  • Working knowledge of OWASP Top 10
  • 3+ years of experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS) such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
  • Understanding of health care or insurance businesses, products, services, and operations
  • Experience with data visualization & analytics tools, as well as advanced implementation on the web
  • Flexibility and proven ability to deliver with constantly changing priorities
  • Good understanding of Software Engineering principles

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce
  • 2+ years of experience in Azure cloud services and products (or AWS/GCP, with foundational Azure knowledge) as well as Microsoft Power Platform and other Microsoft Products.
