Frontend Web Developer Jobs

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Web Developer to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. As our first Frontend Web Developer based in Mexico, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining responsive web applications using modern technologies. Your expertise in React, TypeScript, Gatsby, HTML, and CSS will play a vital role in creating exceptional user experiences and driving the success of our projects.

Responsibility

• Write clean, modular, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices.
• Collaborate with the team to identify and address technical challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Develop new user-facing features and enhancements using React, TypeScript, and Gatsby.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure compliance with coding standards.
• Conduct thorough quality assurance testing and debugging to ensure the performance, reliability, and security of web applications.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development and propose innovative solutions to enhance our products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and other engineers, to translate business requirements into efficient and visually appealing web applications.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of responsive web design principles and mobile-first development.
• Experience with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
• A strong portfolio or examples of previous web development projects would be highly advantageous.
• Proficiency in UI/UX design principles and tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services.
• Knowledge of modern web standards and best practices for performance optimization, accessibility, and SEO.
• Effective communication skills to articulate ideas, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with team members.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative workflows (e.g., GitFlow).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Solid experience in web development, with a focus on frontend technologies.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in React, TypeScript, Gatsby, HTML, and CSS preprocessors (e.g., Sass, Less).
