GFL Environmental is looking for a Receptionist based out of our Fort Wayne, Indiana office! As a key member of GFL’s dynamic team, you will be the first point of contact for customers and will provide administrative support to the office as a whole. The successful candidate will possess exceptional customer service and communication skills while having the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. This position requires an enthusiastic individual who presents themselves with a professional demeanor and a positive attitude, with very high attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
- Returns all internal and external calls and emails in a timely manner to ensure that customers concerns are understood, addressed, and resolved in an efficient and complete manner
- Manage incoming calls and re-direction of the phone calls to the appropriate contact
- General office duties as assigned
- Assist with the overflow operator for the call center
- Complete data entry tasks with high accuracy
- Log information about customer service interactions into system
- Schedule any appointments
- Log information about customer service interactions into system; update in a timely and accurate manner so that team members can track services/inquiries and resolution
- Welcome and accommodate all visitors including clients, vendors and staff entering reception area
- Maintain professional tidiness of conference rooms and lobby
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to engage in friendly and professional correspondence with all levels of leadership within the organization
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize numerous requests in a calm and collected demeanor
- Exhibit impeccable phone skills with accuracy and good judgment
- Minimum of 2+ year(s) of administrative office experience, with reception experience preferred
- Business administration diploma, certificate, or equivalent experience
- Tech Savvy, with a solid understanding of Outlook, Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Office
