Freezer Utility Day Shift

Seneca Foods is one of the most highly integrated fruit and vegetable processing companies in the US. We manage many—and in some cases all—aspects of production. At Seneca, we produce seeds, harvest crops, manufacture our own containers and provide a wide range of nutritious fruit and vegetable products. General Scope and Function: Able to perform all general labor jobs competently and work in a rotation for each job. General knowledge of all duties required. Work at efficient speeds and accuracies to benefit production. Requires ability to bend, walk, stand, lift, carry, push and pull varying weights up to 50 pounds, sometimes in an awkward position.
Duties

• Must be able to read and write English legibly.
• Ability to climb, extensive walking, standing for extended periods of time.
• Must be knowledgeable with the layouts of the electrical control panel and function of each of the machine controls.
• Must maintain good housekeeping.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• Must be able to bend, lift, carry, push and pull varying weights up to 50 pounds, sometimes in awkward positions.
