Quad, a marketing experience company serving premier brands, seeks a qualified Proofreader contractor to work in partnership with one of our largest retail clients in the greater Pittsburgh, PA area. In this role, you will be responsible for examining all copy and proofs generated in digital and print production. You will verify the accuracy of content, revisions, formatting and versioning, and ensure that all quality and production standards are met prior to submission to the client.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in releasing of digital assets to agency
• Review all copy across all formats for adherence to brand standards
• Check against client mark-ups to verify accuracy
• Review and proof artwork for quality, content and accuracy
• Work effectively within internal and client tools and technologies
• Proactively communicate status and issues
• Ability to quickly notice issues and clearly explain necessary changes to internal and client partners
• Work with internal and client Project Management teams on questions and missing information

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in proofreading
• Strong grammar, spelling and punctuation skills
• Self-starter with ability to self-directS1
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, English, or equivalent
• Strong organizational skills with ability to successfully juggle and deliver multiple projects
• Must be detail and deadline oriented
