Freelance Photographer Jobs

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota and Portland, Oregon
Job Type: Contract
Compensation Range: $60 - 65 per hour

We are looking for two talented and experienced Freelance Photographers who specialize in corporate headshots/true branding to support our client's style needs! In this role, you will be responsible for creating a 1950's style with a twist for senior/c-suite headshots to be used on web/social/sales materials.

One photographer needs to be local to Minneapolis, and one in Portland. Photographers must have their own gear/ lights to be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and execute creative photoshoots that capture the essence of individuals and the business.
• Work closely with client to understand their brand identity and visual requirements.
• Deliver final images within agreed-upon timelines.
• Collaborate with the team to brainstorm new ideas and contribute to the continuous improvement of photography services.
• Provide direction to clients during photoshoots to achieve genuine and engaging expressions.
• Utilize your expertise in lighting, composition, and post-production to deliver high-quality, polished images.
• Edit and retouch photos to ensure they align with the client's brand and vision.
• Manage your photography equipment and props during photoshoots to ensure a smooth workflow.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate client needs and photoshoot sessions.
• Strong organizational skills to manage photoshoot logistics and post-production efficiently.
• Experience level: Experienced
• Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and direct subjects during photoshoots.
• Proficiency in photography equipment and editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).
• Knowledge of the latest photography trends and techniques.
