Fraud Specialist needed at Nintendo in Redmond

Location: Remote, WA **Must currently live within Washington State. No relocation is offered.**

What are my core duties/expectations in this role?

  • Perform data analysis and trend profiling
  • Maintains detailed documentation to demonstrate compliance with regulations and internal policies and procedures
  • Conduct online investigations using open source and database research
  • Conduct investigations on accounts and transactions
  • May interact with banks and customers to validate information and to confirm or cancel authorizations if necessary
  • Identify activity and patterns indicative of fraudulent behavior base on manual review and data analyses
  • Handle incoming request from internal and external partners
  • Audits financial transactions to mitigate fraud risk
  • Resolves queued transactions within the service level agreements to reduce potential revenue losses
  • Monitor queue volumes and escalate upticks and trends
  • Monitors real time queuer including customer and transactional records to identify unauthorized transactions and fraudulent accounts

What knowledge and skills are you looking for?

  • Experience in fraud investigations, fraud management, or fraud strategy for e-commerce companies, financial services, or fintech companies.
  • Working knowledge of IP addresses and computer networking
  • Ability to adhere to strict SLA times and be able to justify time via investigation findings, ensure confidentiality of all information collected during investigation, and ensure compliance with established processes and procedures
  • Knowledge or experience in open-source research
  • Experience working with logic-based languages such as SQL, database analysis software, etc. preferred
  • Results obtained in standard tests for this position must meet minimum requirements established by Nintendo, in accordance with Company policy
  • Must complete company provided training and demonstrate ability to resolve relevant issues
  • Robust analytical and Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to be hands-on and dive deep into details, identify root causes, and propose solutions
  • 2+ year(s) a fraud/risk department or similar

Is there any additional information I should consider before applying?

The Consumer Service Department is open from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm, seven days a week. To be considered, candidates must be available to work any full time (32-40 hours per week) schedule within these business hours. The exact schedule may vary each week with shifts including the morning (starting at 6am), the weekend (Saturday/Sunday), and closing (ending at 7pm), so candidates must be able to accommodate a fluctuating schedule.

In addition, candidates must be able to work the day after Thanksgiving and December 26th-31st, along with a willingness to work extra hours around all holidays, if needed.

Successful candidates will be subject to a pre-employment drug test and background and/or reference check.

Nintendo associates are typically required to take a consecutive eight-week break in service after 48 consecutive weeks on the job before they are eligible to return for another 48-week period.

Employment will be subject to Parker Staffing Services, LLC policies and procedures as adopted, and may be revised or deleted from time to time. Parker also retains discretion to modify benefits.
