Job Summary

As a Forklift Operator, you will undergo comprehensive training to develop the necessary skills and knowledge to operate a forklift safely and efficiently. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with material handling, warehouse organization, and loading/unloading goods under the guidance of experienced operators. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and distribution processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist experienced forklift operators in material handling tasks, gaining practical experience and knowledge.
• Collaborate with warehouse personnel to ensure the timely and accurate movement of goods.
• Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Execute tasks assigned by the supervisor related to warehouse operations.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to learning and growing as a forklift operator.
• Develop an understanding of inventory management and tracking systems.
• Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team.
• Attend and actively participate in the forklift operator training program provided by the company.
• Learn the principles of forklift operation, safety guidelines, and best practices.
• Learn to inspect and maintain forklift equipment, reporting any issues to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and improve.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate training sessions and potential shift work.
• No prior forklift operating experience required; we are willing to train the right candidates.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to [weight limit]) with or without accommodation.
• Safety-conscious mindset and commitment to adhering to safety protocols.
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations is a plus.
