As a part of our manufacturing group, you will be responsible for supporting production packaging and processing operations, sanitation and participation in startup, changeover and shutdown of operating equipment.

What your day will look like:
The Forklift Driver is responsible for picking and palletizing orders, loading and unloading trucks, delivering supplies between plants, cleaning warehouse and cooler areas, and completing shipping and receiving paperwork. This position will have responsibilities including forklift operation, operating a mechanical device, and using the shrink wrap machine.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Must be willing to assist in other duties and areas of the plant as assigned to do so.
  • Must understand flour and oil system and assist in unloading of these
  • Ability to load and unload semi-trailers in a safe and efficient
  • Clean all equipment in accordance with the SOP’s.
  • Ability to maneuver product within freezer and cooler to fill the space to its
  • Must be able to perform work in an unsupervised
  • Follow all company safety rules, regulations and Ensure that training is up to date and documented.
  • Paletize product and layers stack up to five feet, place cover on and shrink
  • Ability to use a handheld scanner and complete shipping and receiving
  • Maintain control of all equipment and tools.
What your schedule will look like:
You will be scheduled to work 2nd shift (1:30pm – 11:00pm), Monday – Friday
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime, any shift, including days, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Plant operation is 24 hours a day 7 days a week – When demand increases, hours and days can increase or change.

What you have to offer:
  • Able to understand and follow all GMP’s.
  • Must be able to read and understand the HU system and complete tote, case, and pallet counts
  • Minimum of a high school education or GED
  • Must be able to use computer, pull and print Pick List to locate material in the system
  • Must have or be able to have or receive forklift and electric pallet jack certification
  • Experience in a manufacturing/production environment preferred
Physical requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to work in hot or cold environments
  • Ability to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms
  • Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, gripping, pulling and twisting over surfaces
  • Able and willing to work in an environment with water, flour and other dust like
  • Ability to work with allergens that might be present in a food environment
  • Willing to work around industrial high-speed moving machinery
  • Ability to wear protective clothing and equipment such as safety shoes, face mask, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hard hat, a hair/beard net and gloves when required
