Food Service Worker Jobs

Job opportunity at Bunny Baker! We are looking for food handler who is passionate about cooking and bakery. Under the direction of a manager, you can be responsible for driving a food truck and equipment around Los Angeles and the area. Gather and load supplies according to daily production, service to customers to designated areas, unload supplies, and gather return items. Prepare food items, such as salads, sandwiches and crêpes. Must adhere to food handling and sanitation guidelines. Responsible for customer satisfaction and to relay customer input to management. Assist with other duties in the kitchen as needed.

Qualifications

Required/Preferred

1. Ability to read, understand and speak English sufficient to determine and carry out job duties.

2. Ability to safely operate vehicles, including trucks weighing up to 11,000 pounds.

3. Time management and organizational skills to review daily orders and plan daily work schedule.

6. Ability to read maps, locate delivery sites, and navigate roads to reach delivery location.

9. Skill in operating equipment such as mixers, food processors, food cutters, meat slicers, blenders, gas range, hoods, flat top grill, charbroiler, ovens, steamers, washware equipment.

10. Ability to measure dry and liquid food stuffs in units of measurement such as cup, pint, quart, pound, and oz to properly adhere to recipe and production requirements.

11. Knowledge of the rules and procedures of sanitation and safety as they apply to production, storage and service within a food establishment.

12. Basic culinary skills and a good understanding of culinary terminology.

15. Ability to stand for extended periods of time throughout the shift.

16. Ability to team up with other food handlers and manager.

17. Skill in interacting effectively with guests, public contact setting using positive body language, direct eye contact, active listening, and problem solving techniques.

18. Must have and maintain a valid California Driver's License and a food handler certificate.
