Food Service Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Follows sanitation policies for handling, storing food in such a manner to minimize any cross contamination
• Follows diet extensions / portion control
• Ensures that work/assignment areas are clean and equipment, tools, supplies, etc. are properly stored before leaving such areas on breaks and at the end of the work day
• Supervise Dietary team ensuring all stations are covered
• Follows established policies and procedures for use of personal protective equipment
• Properly sets up tray line stations as assigned
• Able to complete assignments within allotted time and able to adjust to changes and re-assignments.
• Cleans / sanitizes all equipment according to policy
• Follows all established safety procedures and precautions when handling supplies and equipment

Requirements:

• Strong leadership skills also required. Previous Supervisory experience preferred.
• Completed Dietary Managers Course, Certificate preferred or Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
• 3-5 year experience. Excellent communication & interpersonal skills required.
• HS diploma or equivalent required.
