SANITATION OF FOOD PROCESSING EQUIPMENT

Production Department - Main Office, Harrisburg, PA

Shift Times: Monday-Friday, 3:00pm to approximately 1:00am

Job Summary

Hershey Creamery Company is currently accepting resumes from persons interested in joining our cleaning and sanitation crew. This is a NON JANITORIAL POSITION.

• Earn $22.13/hour after 60 days - $33.20/hour per OT hour
• Consistent Schedule - This position is 2nd Shift, Monday through Friday from 3:00pm to approximately 1:00am.

• Consistent Overtime Pay – Average 45-50 hours per week, with overtime after 40 hours.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintaining sanitation of food processing equipment including CIP systems and hand cleaning.
• Maintaining our highest quality of food safety standards, sanitation standards, and production requirements.
• Must observe all safety procedures, Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Other responsibilities as they are assigned.

• Must be able to pass all pre-employment drug screens and criminal background checks
• Ability to lift 50-100 pounds
• Experience with cleaning and sanitation of food processing equipment within the food and beverage industry preferred
• Must be able to walk and/or stand the majority of the shift
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
