Food Production Planning Specialist

Actively seeking a Food Production Planning Specialist for our client for a Fulltime and Onsite Role.

SCHEDULE: First Shift, Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 4:30 PM [40 Hrs./Week]

LOCATION: Fully Onsite | Swedesboro, NJ

PAY RATE: $65,000 - $70,000

IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Experience working with Protein Products (meats) PREFERRED
• Ability to fully understand SOPs and GMP Guidelines
• Strong communication, report compiling, and Production planning modules skills Required
• 1-2+ years of Food Production Planning
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); Especially Proficient in Excel (Formulas, Filters, vLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Operations/Supply Chain, or Related Field PREFERRED

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Communicate constraints/delays to sales, operations, production team, etc.
• Schedule daily/weekly production plan for all production lines based on open production orders and provided demand forecast
• Actively participate on the S&OP forecast process, responsible for building and aligning 3 month forecast by brand/product group based on sales and marketing plan input
• Coordinate Weekly Capacity & Labor Plan
• Work with marketing/sales to ensure new product launch volumes are properly planned
• Ability to calculate basic math equations, Ex. yields calculations
• Review monthly statistical output based and supported by S&OP output
• Communicate w/ stakeholders and management
• Work Cross-Functionally with Supply and Production based on realistic forecast trends
