Job Description
With AnthroMed Education, our team of Social Workers positively impacts the lives of their students in our partnering schools. Taking pride in our ability to support our Social Workers at each stage of their careers is one of our greatest strengths as a local organization.
As we continue to expand, we seek a driven school-based Social Worker to join our team for an in-person full-time maternity leave role in Hodgkins, IL for the 2023-2024 school year.
Position Details
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Push in and pull services as well as whole classroom lessons
  • Dates: August 21st- October 2023
  • Support students who are in K-6th grade
  • Caseload and support for Tier 1 students
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday in-person and onsite
  • Small number of students seen individually or in a group setting
  • Small caseload of students with IEPs and 504 plans
  • Work with staff members to provide evidence based practice support
  • Attend and participate in IEP assessments, observation, and formal reviews
  • Collaborate with students, colleagues, and families to best support each student's needs
  • Hours: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Qualifications
  • Active PEL with School Social Work Endorsement
  • Masters in Social Work
  • Prior experience working with elementary ages students as a school-based social worker preferred
