Position: Flight Deck

Reports To: Coordinator, Fan Development & Loyalty and Director, Marketing & Broadcasting Services

Location: Arizona Cardinals (Tempe, AZ)

Duration: July 2023 - February 2023 (1 NFL Season*)

Summary:

The Flight Deck team member is a position that serves as one of the key touchpoints with fans for the team and our brand in the community. Overseeing the activation of pre-game fan engagement areas and assisting our vendors during gamedays with the potential of external event opportunities.


Primary Job Duties:

The Flight Deck team member will have responsibilities including, without limitation the following:

  • Oversee the activation of pre-game fan engagement areas
  • Ensure the activation area is set-up and torn down in a timely manner
  • Assist vendors and sponsors as needed to ensure a smooth operation during gameday
  • Direct guest to their tailgate floor based on ticket location
  • Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned as needed
  • Act as a liaison for the Arizona Cardinals, State Farm Stadium staff, vendors, and sponsors on game day
  • Interact and greet guests to ensure they have a positive fan experience
  • Set up, tear down, and clean tailgate activation space in a timely manner for the Heritage Tailgate

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • 2 pre-season games
  • Commitment is for the entire Arizona Cardinals 2023 home game schedule and events
    • Red & White training camp game
    • 2 pre-season games
    • 8 regular season games
    • 2 playoff games*
    • external event opportunities*
  • 2 playoff games*
  • 8 regular season games
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to problem solve in a fast-paced event/production environment
  • Must be detail-oriented and highly self-motivated with a shared commitment to excellence
  • Red & White training camp game

  • Be able to work shifts that report 5.5 hours before kickoff and end up to 1 hour post game (10 hour shift)

Special Working Conditions:

  • Must be flexible to work evenings and/or weekends and all Arizona Cardinals home games, including events held on weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Includes walking and/or standing for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs or more
  • Ability to work outside in all elements
