The Opportunity: Contribute to the Growth of Your Career:

The Buyer is responsible for managing and securing inventory for New store, remodel and special project Fixture needs, such as garment racks and dressing room departments.

What you will do:

· Directly responsible for managing selected supplier commodities, including negotiation and securing inventory for fixture required across all US TJX Brands.

· Forecasts, monitors and maintains fixture inventory levels at supplier to ensure availability to meet construction department project fixture dates.

· Provides advise to Fixture Purchasing Administrators on which supplier inventories to use first, as well as, any and all revisions that impact the ordering process and on-time delivery to job sites.

· Assures integrity of Fixture Inventory Database to track and monitor inventory and pricing information.

· Prepares reports, as well as, briefs Management on bid requests, supplier relations, inventory levels, quality control and delivery dates. Prepares rolling forecasts and other projections as needed.

· Works closely with suppliers to improve customer service relationships, service and performance.

· Monitors actual fixture expense and inventory against plan through use of excel spreadsheets and supplier reports.

· Provides functional guidance for usage of inventory and resolution of supplier problems relating to delivery/shipping dates, fixture quality and supplier customer service. Trouble shoots and resolves problems with suppliers.

What you will need:

· 3-5 years + in a buying role

· Demonstrated Excel experience - proficient in using and crafting formula based, spreadsheets (Familiar with Pivot Tables is a plus)

· Proven negotiation skills

· Excellent math, analytical and problem-solving skills

· Import supply chain management experience

· Solid organizational and follow through skills with attention to detail, with ability to manage work independently crucial

· Strong interpersonal skills, outstanding verbal and written communications

· Ability to Pivot and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Plus Experience:

· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
