Fitness Instructor - Barre

Elite Amenity Management is looking for Barre Instructors for one of our locations.

Our location holds group classes for residents of our building. We are looking for someone to at least teach one Barre Class, for one of our two class slots.

The timeslots are Saturdays from 10am - 11am or Sundays 9am - 10am and are 60$ for an hour class.
If you are able to come in for both timeslots, the other class can be either a Pilates or Yoga class if you prefer.

This location is located by the 96th Street Station, accessible on subway lines, 1, 2 & 3 trains.

Minimum Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Recognized competency in field of instructional expertise. May require technical certification dependent on the instructional specialty (AFAA, ACE, NETA, NASM, etc.).
• An Active Certificate of Liability Insurance
• Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
• Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
• Knowledge of exercise principles and technology.
• Records maintenance skills.
• Knowledge of fitness training and education methods and techniques in area of specialty.
• Skill in the use of first aid procedures.
• Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of fitness equipment and facilities.
• Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
