What You Will Do

As a Financial Consultant (Retirement Consultant) you will be part of our growing retail sales team and have the opportunity to earn a generous paycheck. The compensation package includes a base salary plus incentive compensation. The incentive compensation component will be variable and tied to specific sales related goals set by Empower. At Empower, we believe in owning your career and supporting your growth and development; new Retirement Consultants will have the opportunity to be promoted to a Senior Retirement Consultant providing greater opportunity

• Provide appropriate investment solutions to existing customers and help expand the acquisition of new customers
• Remote working options available
• Educate our customers on information specific to their retirement plan and offerings
• Cultivate relationships with our customers and provide them guidance to assist with making the right decisions about their retirement savings

What You Will Bring

• Motivated, self-starter with the ability to learn new information quickly and independently
• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional work experience
• Willingness to learn and grow
• Current FINRA licenses and/or ability to successfully obtain FINRA 7 & 63 registrations within corporate-established timelines and complete FINRA fingerprinting upon hire; paid study time and materials for required licenses
• Effective communication skills and comfortable interacting with others
• Problem-solving skills and ability to engage with customers, ask questions, share thoughts & offer solutions
• Demonstrated customer service, relationship management and sales skills
• Minimum of 1 year experience in sales, preferably phone sales

What Will Set You Apart

• Ability to quickly learn new systems and prior experience with SalesForce a plus
• A growth mindset to meet company and team sales goal
• Any experience in Financial Services preferred but not required
• Ability to advance your career and promote to a Senior Retirement Consultant
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite of Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
• Understanding and/or interest in helping people with their personal finances (i.e. IRAs, retirement, investments).

The salary range below shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Base Salary Range

$ 52,000.00-64,000.00
