This Financial Business Analyst will focus on the organization’s multi-year implementation of a new budgeting and forecasting application and will be responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements for the development and implementation of the new application across the organization.

Opportunity: Contract-To-Hire

Location: Charlotte, NC

Schedule: Hybrid (3 days REMOTE, 2 days onsite)

Pay Rate: $40-$45/hr

Conversion Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000

Responsibilities:

• Validate budget and forecast models once completed.
• Utilize the understanding of both business processes and technology to work alongside IT and external consultants and implement the requirements in the application.
• Additional tasks as requested.
• Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion as part of the overall project plan.
• Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements.
• Review and approve documentation produced by technical writers
• Establish meeting cadences, structure, and timelines.
• Partner with sector finance teams to assess and analyze business functions/processes to define and articulate the business requirements.
• Generate requirements and mock-ups documentation.
• Effectively communicate plans and timelines to various levels of the organization.
• Post implementation management of feedback and requirements year-over-year.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Finance or FP&A experience
• Relevant Degrees (Accounting/Finance) and/or Certifications (MBA/CPA/PMP) preferred
• Experienced with gathering requirements (ideally for financial applications)
• Detail-oriented and highly organized with strong problem-solving skills
• Advanced Excel
• Must be comfortable coordinating and running meetings with all levels of an organization
