Provide accurate and data-based information on company’s effectiveness and stability. They will research and analyze financial information to help the company make well-informed decisions, write reports and monitor financial movements.


Skills


KEY DUTIES


  • Identify trends based on sound analysis.
  • Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with budgets and prior periods.
  • Support the annual budgeting process in conjunction with the Manager, FP&A.
  • Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance.
  • Analyze project performance against expense and benefit expectations each month.
  • Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance.
  • Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status.
  • Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data.
  • Partner with management to understand financial reporting needs.
  • Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis.
  • Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement, forecasts etc.) taking into account financial standing.
  • Develop reports and analyze nonfinancial data.
  • Incorporate financial data into this analysis when appropriate.


REQUIREMENTS Education And Experience


  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business and three years of experience in accounting or finance with a focus on analysis, or, other bachelor’s degree and six years of experience in accounting or finance with a focus on analysis
  • Requires effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office products with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Requires strong analytical skills and some understanding of accounting principles
  • Must be able to maintain confidential information
  • Requires knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
  • Requires ability to work with large sets of data and business intelligence reporting tools
  • Requires organizational skills and must have the ability to manage multiple tasks/projects


Work-at-home Requirements


  • Must have the ability to provide a non-cellular High Speed Internet Service such as Fiber, DSL, or cable Modems for a home office.
  • A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 30x5 (30mpbs download x 5mpbs upload) is required.
  • Hotspots, satellite and wireless internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
  • Latency (ping) response time lower than 80 ms
  • A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. GEHA considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.


The annual base salary range for this position is $62,142 - $87,058 USD.
