Job Summary And Qualifications

Seeking a Financial Analyst with a strong interest in healthcare industry with focus on revenue cycle management to provide operational and financial analysis to SSC operational unit leaders and senior leadership. They should possess knowledge of the healthcare revenue cycle business operations, processes, and procedures. The Financial Analyst will work independently and collaborate with team members to generate and deliver variance analysis reports, key financial statistics, and assist business unit leaders in managing information effectively to optimize departmental efficiency and performance. Must demonstrate a learning mindset with desire and ability to actively participate in regular training opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

• Leverage technology to create effective and efficient solutions that support organizational goals throughout service center.
• Prepares uncompensated care projections and variance analysis for accounts receivable and net revenue performance.
• Prepares and analyzes monthly MORs.
• Assist in translating business reporting requirements to development staff.
• Assists in documentation of workflows, policies, procedures, processes, report specifications and other material, as needed.
• Creates and supports exception‐based report generation for all departments.
• Ability to consolidate, interpret and present data in reports/dashboards for Executive, Team Leads and Individual End Users focused on Acquisition and Financial Information.
• Identify, extract, clean, transform, validate, and/or model data across multiple domains.
• Maintains and monitors reporting queues and requests while ensuring internal completion KPIs met.
• Creates and maintains standard related reports to support operational and development needs.
• Monitor defined reports and work with applicable departments to ensure AR is properly stated at month end.
• Assist Manager in managing information effectively to improve departmental efficiency and performance.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years progressive accounting/finance or revenue cycle experience required, preferably in healthcare revenue cycle.
• Bachelor’s degree with focus in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other Business-related field required; equivalent work experience may substitute degree requirement.
• Basic SQL and/or Business Objects query writing experience preferred.
