Incentive : PIP 5%

Job Summary


This position will support PSE&G's business planning process. The position will primarily support a Utility line of business. Areas of responsibility include creating and maintaining the annual cost plan (O&M and capital). Support month end closing activities including journal entries, variance analysis and ad-hoc analysis and reporting. Provide information and recommendations to clients that drive improved business results. The group works collaboratively with its Utility clients, other areas of Utility Finance and Accounting.


Job Responsibilities


  • Support the month end, quarter end and year-end closing processes. These can include creating and maintaining journal entries, conducting actual vs plan variance analysis, creating ad hoc analysis
  • Responsible for working with the client to prepare and create the annual cost plan in SAP and PCM specifically focused on O&M and Capital costs
  • Preparation of reports or analysis specifically requested by the client
  • Assist in analyzing results and identify areas of opportunities for efficiency and cost savings


Job Specific Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering or related field to be received by December 2023
