Minimum qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in relevant financial or analytical roles in investment banking/financial services, management consulting, Fortune 500, media and entertainment, or tech.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in data analysis, working with query databases (e.g., SQL).

Preferred qualifications:

• Ability to leverage problem-solving skills to build business cases and analysis useful to drive decision making.
• Master's degree or MBA in a relevant field.
• Ability to influence different levels of a matrixed organization.
• Strong financial modeling skills.
• Proven ability to cultivate strong relationships within the Finance team and with cross-functional partners, work in a fast-paced, evolving environment, and drive operational initiatives.
• Experience using SQL or other data analytics tools to extract and influence data delivered through dashboards.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in Google’s Platform and Ecosystems organization, you’ll work with business partners, helping devise, assess, and optimize the Google TV business plan. You’ll also collaborate closely with and support our business development and operations teams on a variety of high impact initiatives and to inform our leadership.
Google TV is redefining the TV experience to make it highly personalized, Google-smart, and content-forward to help users access the world’s media. Through recent launches like Chromecast with Google TV, we bring together the best of Google. Google TV is focused on scaling across the OEM ecosystem; working closely with third-party streaming partners plus many teams across Google (for example: Ads, Play, and YouTube); and building a business on TV platforms, OTT devices, and mobile devices. Additional Information:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $85,500-$124,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Apply expertise across tools and financial systems to troubleshoot, execute data pulls and loads, create easy-to-understand financial models with large datasets, and partner with the FP&A Hub and relevant systems teams.
• Drive, identify, and execute process improvements and training related to reporting and managing operating expenses and headcount.
• Address a variety of ad-hoc analytical/process requests and day-to-day questions.
• Support ongoing processes such as monthly forecast, reporting/variance analysis, data validations, accruals, accounting pre-close, annual planning, and expense management. Drive business impact through analysis.
• Partner across Google TV and cross-functionally to generate business reporting, provide insights into variance analyses, as well as cultivate and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders in Google TV and Finance.
