Job Summary
Field Service Engineer (Remote -Chicago area)

WHAT A TYPICAL DAY LOOKS LIKE:
  • Customer, listen to their needs and challenges and help them. In some cases, it will be hands-on with testing and repair and in others, you will seek out the resources, and connections that are needed and follow up to make certain the customer’s need was resolved
  • Your communication skills will serve you well as you engage with Project Managers, Engineers, Facilities professionals, and various site personnel
  • All engagements will be conducted with the utmost professionalism and the highest safety concerns in mind.
  • In this role you will install, support maintains, and repair high-availability switchgear used primarily on customer sites in data centers and similar.

THE EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING TO ADD TO THE TEAM:
  • Communications, listening skills
  • Understanding and passion for electrical and/or electronics
  • 5+ years of experience with electrical and or electronic equipment
  • Ability to problem solve, work independently
Preferred:
  • Associates level in electrical/electronic major preferred
  • Demonstrated experience working with electrical power distribution systems or electronics
