We are currently seeking a skilled Field Service Controls Engineer with expertise in Robots, PLC, and HMI to join our team. As a Field Service Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and resolving programming and system failures. Your knowledge and experience in PLC programming, CNC programming, Robot programming, and Vision programming will be critical in ensuring the successful integration and operation of automation systems.
Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site support for system integration and site testing.
- Respond to service calls to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair programming and system failures.
- Perform system installations, safety implementation, and sequence testing to ensure proper system integration and activation of safety programming.
- Assist with the field installation and testing of new control systems.
- Provide production support and resolve open issues on-site.
Technical Proficiencies Required:
- PLC Programming: Siemens (Simatic Manager, TIA Portal, Wincc Flexible), Rockwell (RxLogix 5000, Factory Talk)
- CNC Programming: Siemens 840DSL programming for gantry applications
- Robot Programming: Fanuc/ABB robot with DCS and Safemove programming certifications
- Vision Programming: Cognex, Keyence, Fanuc Vision (2D, 3D, 3DL, 3DV), ABB Flex Vision
Requirements:
- Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or Robotics.
- 3+ years of experience in PLC, HMI, CNC, Robots, and Motion Control programming.
- Expertise in material handling conveyor systems, robotics systems with material handling, and gantry systems.
- Willingness to travel at least 50% for on-site support and project implementation.
- Must have valid US citizenship, Green Card, or TN Visa.
