How you will spend your day as a Field Manager:
  • Responsible for ensuring products installed per manufacturer's best practices.
  • Responsible for ensuring installation per building code.
  • Oversees all employees and crews in the field and ensures that they are working within our system to be productive, make our builders’ jobs easier, and continually improve.
  • Makes sure that our field operations are performing at a high level and that our crews are meeting SouthEnd Exteriors’ level of quality and safety.
  • Responsible for overseeing siding installations as well as other builder services, ensuring safety, quality and completeness
  • Trains crews and enforce SouthEnd’s strict guidelines for safety and compliance while maintaining relationships with the crews.
  • Performs routine quality walks on all homes and track each crew’s performance.
  • Oversees assigned builder installations, activities, and crews in the field.
  • Monitors SouthEnd Exteriors performance with assigned builders and in all communities.

Field Manager Requirements
  • Physical Demands. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Communication. Strong written and oral communication skills (required).
  • Excellence. Must have an excellent attendance history with a work ethic to match.
  • Experience. Experience in residential construction environments (preferred).
  • Teamwork. Ability to work as a team and help motivate others.
  • Education. Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred).
  • Knowledge. Home and construction systems and processes (preferred).
  • Travel. Must be willing to travel to local job sites, some over night stays may be required. Must have a valid driver's license.
