F&B Receiving Clerk

Job Scope:

Responsible for receiving all merchandise. Responsible for storing all Food & Beverage and General Storeroom Merchandise that is received. Other duties as required.

• Storage: Please ensure that all raw uncooked proteins are not stored above or around cooked food items and or produce. Abiding by this practice ensures that we are taking the right steps to keeping our guest and colleagues safe from any type of cross contamination.
• Delivery/Carts: Make sure all carts going to the kitchen are separated by food class. Proteins, Vegetables, dry goods.
• Proteins: All proteins must be thoroughly checked. 1st check pricing and weight. Once those 2 are checked specific goods must be weighed. Any weight shortages must be noted on invoice and deducted from invoice total.
• Ability to lift a moderate amount of weight.
• Produce: All produce should be checked with purchase order in hand, item should be marked off only if goods have been thoroughly vetted when received.
• All deliveries are to be checked thoroughly before signing invoices.
• Dry Storage: All dry storage goods need to be checked against the purchase order as well as checked for damages, i.e. dented cans or any other type of damaged product.
• Print off all order and req the day before in preparation of the following day of business.
• Returns: All goods not meeting Hyatt Standards are to be returned same day as delivery with credit noted on invoice that will be short payed.
