Program/Project Support Coordinator I
Family and Youth Liaison


Nature of Work

This position spans work on multiple research projects to coordinate support to ensure that the goals and objectives of specified for the program are accomplished in accordance with established priorities, time limitations, funding limitations or other specifications. The person in this position will work on grant teams at the Missouri Institute of Mental Health.

  • Assists in the development and implementation of programs/projects according to plan and/or with guidance
  • Uses existing procedures to solve standard problems
  • Has limited impact on own work team
  • Prepares and delivers evidence-based tasks to assist senior level directors
  • Performs a variety of standard assignments and responsibilities and makes recommendations for improvement/efficiency, as necessary
  • Develops working relationships with program/project teams
  • Works within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet established deadlines
  • Coordinates (e.g., compiles, verifies, prepares) materials, information, events, etc. as assigned
  • Performs professional technical project tasks as assigned using existing procedures
  • Exchanges straightforward information, asks questions, and ensures understanding

Key Responsibilities

  • Write project summaries and reports as requested by state and federal representatives in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Work closely with the project teams to develop and implement project/program activities
  • Conduct statewide travel as-needed to visit grant funded facilities and attend grant meeting and events.
  • Assist project directors in preparing and delivering evidence-based practices
  • Written and verbal communication with collaborating agencies and grant teams.
  • Applicants must demonstrate a high level of organization and dependability.

M-F; 40hours


Salary

Pay commensurate with education and experience.
Hiring Range: $17.96- $24.82/hr

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary


Preferred Qualifications

  • Possess at least a moderate understanding of mental health services throughout the state of Missouri.
  • Master’s degree in public health, social work, psychology, epidemiology, or a related field is preferred.
